Cancellation policy
Shelters by the Sea – Local Accommodation
At Shelters by the Sea, we strive to ensure transparency and clarity in all reservations made through our website. By confirming a reservation, the guest declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted this Cancellation Policy.
1. Guest Cancellation
The cancellation policy applicable to reservations made directly through the Shelters by the Sea website follows a strict cancellation model, with the following conditions:
- The guest may cancel the reservation free of charge within 48 hours of confirmation, provided that the cancellation occurs at least 14 days before the check-in date.
- If the cancellation is made more than 14 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation amount will be refunded.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the check-in date are non-refundable.
- In case of no-show, 100% of the total reservation amount will be charged, with no refund.
2. Early Departure
If the guest decides to end their stay before the originally reserved departure date, no refund will be issued for the unused nights.
3. Reservation Changes
Requests to
change the dates or duration of the stay are subject to availability and confirmation by Shelters by the Sea.
Changes may result in
price adjustments according to the rate in effect at the time of the modification.
4. Cancellation by the Accommodation
Shelters by the Sea reserves the right to cancel a reservation in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Technical or structural problems with the property
- Force majeure situations
- Circumstances that prevent the accommodation from being safely provided
In such cases, a full refund of all amounts paid will be issued, with no further liability.
5. Force Majeure
Extraordinary situations beyond the control of the parties (such as natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, or similar events) may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
